Really nice golf course just outside of charlotte, good prices and staff was very helpful. the front nice is a nice warm up for the back 9. they have a good practice area too with greens and a driving range. would definitely recommend!
The pure greens coupled with the beautiful landscape and layout makes this place a hidden gem! A little pricey, but you get what you pay for in this instance. Will make this a regular stop from now on.
Beautiful course. However, some cart path locations are very steep. Drivers need to be extra cautious. Love playing this course tucked away in the middle of nowhere. Amazing value.
Every green, every fairway, every sandtraps, every tee box was perfect! Scenic views on several elevated tees. Pinetree lined fairways reminded me of Augusta National. I can't wait to go back to Eagle Chase.
.A no frills Golf Course that is getting an upgrade.. Eagle Chase is a hidden Gem that is pretty far out of the " loop" of Charlotte. Although we were disappointed to learn hole 8 is currently closed for bunker upgrades, that didn't affect the amazing time we had , and ALWAYS HAVE, playing this course.. they have a driving range, a large practice putting green, and a small practice chipping area .. they sell everything you need in the clubhouse , and have a small snack and drink area. There's no beer cart, a single Porta John on each 9 holes, and none of the water coolers that are usually out on the course were in place, so make sure you bring your own drinks, or buy some in the clubhouse, before you head out, in case the coolers aren't out for you as well. The Carts are newer looking , ( we haven't been in a while ) and the bunkers are all getting an upgrade to pure , white sand, as opposed to the red clay they've always had. I Took my oldest son for his Birthday , and my youngest grandson rode along with us. We are hacks that just enjoy playing when we can. This course is not only BEAUTIFUL, and one of my all-time favorite courses to play, it also has extremely playable holes for us " hacks " , and extremely challenging holes for you scratch golfers out there. Be prepared to be blown away by the sheer beauty of this course . A Large creek runs along several of the holes , and you can hear the water flowing as if you're in a world all to yourself.we played the Monday after the Superbowl and pretty much had the course to ourselves . I was torn about writing this review , as we ( me and my 3 sons and 2 grandsons ) have always enjoyed playing a less than normal , crowded course 😁 .. So whether you're a hack like us, or a scratch golfer looking for a " mountainous " type course to play without driving all the way out to the mountains, I guarantee you too WILL LOVE playing this course !!.
I played Eagle Chase and it was great, the course is in great condition. This is one more great courses I've played. The fairways are wide and open. The course has shots over water to a beautiful fairways. Wonderful place to play. 👍 …
Excellent golf course, with a challenging layout, excellent conditions, and extremely reasonable rates for the quality of the course. Reminds me a little of Oak Valley and UNC Findlay, as it's got some mountain golf and linksy elements. Super fun, great value, I'll definitely be back to one of the hidden gems around Charlotte
Very happy we found this course. Very nice conditioning, interesting layout with elevation changes and doglegs, greens are fast & true but hard to hold (not really a complaint just a warning... Lol). A great rate and great value for the money. Will play again when I come through Charlotte again.
Hidden gem! Lived in Charlotte all this time and didn't know a public course like this existed nearby. The greens are in perfect condition. Lots of elevation changes. I believe the Wingate University plays here.
This course was fantastic. Very reasonably priced and a wonderful full practice area putting chipping bunker driving range all top notch. They recently sanded the greens but they were great and in 10 days will be perfect. I played from the yellow senior tees and found the course very fair. 10 to 12 were tough to me
